Originally founded by Pastors Zachary and Riva Tims, the church is now lead by Senior Pastor Paula White. New Destiny Christian Center is a non-denominational church focused on contemporary worship, dynamic bible teaching and developing strong prayer lives in their congregation.
The client requested to build a new organizational message that could build pride, establish heritage, inspire new culture, while maintaining careful focus not to ostracize long-term congregation members. The goal: to strategize, design and change the entire organizational image and church communications strategy of New Destiny Christian Center in 2-months. Rather than changing the name of the church, Pastor Paula White wanted to create a completely new visual identity and organizational culture, for an already-established church brand in Central Florida.
Our efforts focused on two areas: messaging, visual brand design, brand identity systems and building out a new web experience for users. The goal was to discover and reveal the aspects of church experience that inspire and motivate it’s members to return every week. Rebranding efforts began with exploring the brand’s foundation and also discovering the definition of it’s future.
The new brand message establishes a bridge between Dr. Zachary Tims and the new leadership that will take the brand into it’s promising future. We arrived at developing an authentic and purposeful brand message lead by the slogan “Passing The Torch” – giving the congregation a sense of both their history and direction.
