Paula White Ministries Direct Mail Marketing Campaign Project Overview
Print Design . Pre-Press Setup . Concept Development . Art Direction
Year Completed: June 2013
Direct Mail Marketing is something Paula White Ministries uses frequently to get ministry updates in the hands of it’s members and supporters. It is also an effective tool in collecting financial contributions and a vehicle to offer new ministry resources.
This project challenged me to learn to utilize both design principles and research in order to produce a successful project. Without understanding my audience and their visual and verbal response mechanisms, creating an effective design would have been challenging. In conjunction with completing the design, I worked with the creative director to develop tracking codes for A/B testing on two different campaigns. Since it was an expensive campaign to produce and print, the ministry utilized A/B testing to know the ROI and response rate on both campaign versions.
The design collaterals below include: the main carrier mailing envelop; the offering envelop (which is not visible); business response envelop (which is not visible); 3D product mockups that need to be integrated into the design; donor reply tear sheet in which the donor responds with a financial contribution and prayer requests; an offering letter and product booklet.
